Hi!
do u use like a grid when u draw realistic drawings to get the right proportions ?

When I draw portraits, I generally avoid using grid, sometimes, I don't get the likeness and I finally use the grid, but I always prefer the free hand style....another setting is when I'm drawing in big scale, the drawing is so big my eyes can't see the whole drawing at the time, just parts; so it gets disproportional, in that situation is necesary the grid too

ok thanks.. i do have some problems getting the right proportions, find it kinda hard seeing like how long the nose should be from the eye on certain animal drawings. And if it doesnt come out right u just simply dont get the realistic feel. and when u start shading its kinda late changing it.

Felicitaciones muy buenos dibujos... creo que tienes mucho talento, te recomiendo que trabajes con algunas modelos reales y que comiences a marcar tu sello personal, no desperdicies solo tu talento en lograr trabajos con un buen nivel técnico... has la diferencia a muchos que solo dibujan personas famosas... te recomiendo que veas los trabajos de Dirk Dzimirki el va mas allá de lograr un hiperrealismo con grafito... creo que tu tienes un futuro muy bueno en el mundo del arte... :)
